Creating your Twitter Background, we've updated ours!

We've finally got round to updating out Twitter background from a very simple and slightly meaningless image to what we would now consider more useful to all of our followers through this fantastic form of social media.

New Twitter Background

Granted the changes are quite subtle, however the new background has meant that the whitespace around the twitter feed is now filled in so the page doesn't appear so empty. Also, I've included a couple of calls to action on the right hand side by way of our telephone number and website address, and also a list of our services.

The new images is also sized so that it stays in the background as you scroll, whereas the old version used to disappear as soon as you scrolled down the page.

You can see HostPipe's Twitter Profile here.

The only down side, perhaps, is that Twitter used to have a fixed padding on the left so that you could always fit information into you background and make it viewable. Not any more, so if someone shrinks the width of their browser window the logo and writing will not appear. But it's a huge improvement on our previous Twitter background, a lot more engaging.
